Your Best Bets for UFC Fight Night 82’s ‘Fight of the Night’

20130224025838_ray_borgUFC Fight Night 82 Date: February 6, 2016 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Las Vegas for UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs Thompson with 12 scheduled bouts. Main card action will get underway at 10pm ET on FOX Sports 1, with preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 8pm ET and a pair of bouts on Fight Pass prior to that at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on these ‘FOTN’ props or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Hendricks/Thompson +280 || .5 to win 1.4u This is a main event scheduled for five rounds and I think it is a fight that could prove to be quite entertaining, as long as it is not a five round wrestling bout that takes place with Thompson having his back either against the cage or on the mat. This is a scrap fight fans are looking forward to, and after having been promoted to main event status and five rounds instead of three, I think it stands a good chance of pulling away with the ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus as long as both men deliver. At +280, I think it is worth a stab, just to play it safe in case Borg/Scoggins doesn’t come through. If that match-up doesn’t come through, I think the main event will be taking home the prize. Should that happen, it would be the fourth ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus for Hendricks, while being the first for Thompson. Borg/Scoggins +380 || 1u to win 3.8u This flyweight scrap is my personal favorite to take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors. I played it at +400 and still see value in it at +380 after a small slip. From all the match-ups on this fight card, I think these 125-pounders have the best chance of delivering an entertaining and closely contested bout. They are both generally fun to watch so I think pitting them against each other inside the Octagon makes a perfect recipe for fireworks. Should Borg and Scoggins manage to take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would be the very first time for both flyweights.
