Bellator officials announced Tuesday that Lorenz Larkin will face Fernando Gonzalez in a 180-pound catchweight bout in the main event of Bellator 193 on Jan. 26 at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif.
Larkin (18-7) looks for his first win since September 2016 as he’s dropped both of his matchups in Bellator to Douglas Lima and most recently Paul Daley. The 31-year-old hasn’t lost three-straight fights since 2014. Gonzalez (27-14) has won seven of his last eight fights including a third-round submission victory over Brennan Ward at Bellator 182 back in September.
Juliana Lima vs. Randa Markos set for UFC on FOX 27 in Charlotte MMADNA was the first to report a strawweight matchup has been added to UFC on FOX 27 in January pitting Juliana Lima against Randa Markos.
Lima (9-4) is coming off a submission setback to Tecia Torres at The Ultimate Fighter Season 25 Finale in July. The 35-year-old has lost two of her last three fights. Markos (7-5) heads into this matchup off a split decision setback to Alexa Grasso at UFC Fight Night 114 in September. The Canadian has alternated between wins and losses in her last seven-bouts.
