UFC Fight Night 110: Lewis vs. Hunt

Date: June 10, 2017
Arena: Spark Arena
City: Auckland, New Zealand

The Ultimate Fighting Championship will be returning to Auckland, New Zealand for the second time in promotional history this Saturday (June 10, 2017) with UFC Fight Night 110: Lewis vs. Hunt. The 12-fight card is set to kick off with preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. ET. The prelims will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m., with the main card getting underway on the same channel at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are available at Several Bookmakers.

The “Fight of the Night” plays that hold the most value are:

Elliott/Nguyen +350 1u to win 3.5u

This fight should be fireworks from start to finish, as Tim Elliott and Ben Nguyen are among the most entertaining flyweights in the division, both delivering every time they step into the Octagon. Elliott is taking this bout on short notice as an injury replacement for Joseph Benavidez, and it is a quick turnaround for him following his unanimous-decision win over Louis Smolka this past April. This is definitely a fun fight and one that stands a great chance of taking home “Fight of the Night” honors, as the betting line does reflect. Should these 125-pounders take home the bonus, it would mean the third time for Elliott while being the first for Nguyen.

Moraga/Mokhtarian +1000 1u to win 10u

John Moraga will be trying to snap a three-fight losing skid in this contest against promotional newcomer Ashkan Mokhtarian, who will be looking for his seventh straight victory. I think this pairing is a good recipe for potential fireworks, and at +1000, I love it for a play. This is likely going to be a real scrap in the UFC’s featherweight division, and this betting line is too tough to pass up. Should they manage to take home the evening’s “Fight of the Night” honors, it would be the first time for both fighters.

Kim/Gouti +900 1u to win 5.75u

These lightweights will kick off the action as the very first fight on the preliminary card. I think this matchup stylistically has a good chance of being highly entertaining. If they really start on a high note, I can see them earning this bonus. This is a “loser goes home” bout for both 155-pounders, so I expect each of them to leave it all inside the Octagon in an effort to stay in the UFC. Should they manage to notch the bonus, it would be the second time for Dong Hyun Kim and the first for Thibault Gouti.

2017 FOTN Results: 4–4 for +7.5u
