Prop Plays for UFC 198

Thiago-SantosUFC 198 Date: May 14, 2016 Arena: Arena da Baixada City: Curitiba, Parana, Brazil The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to Curitiba, Parana, Brazil this Saturday (May 14, 2016) with UFC 198: Werdum vs Miocic. The incredibly stacked 12-fight card kicks off on UFC Fight Pass at 6:15pm ET, with preliminary action continuing on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm ET, and the main card getting going at 10pm ET on Pay Per View. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays: Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino (-1700) vs Leslie Smith (+100) Justino in Round One (-200) 4u to win 2u In her UFC debut, I expect Cyborg to keep doing what she’s always done, which is make quick work of her outmatched and outgunned opponents. I see her putting Smith away in the opening stanza. It is also worth noting that Cyborg is a 145-pound fighter, while Smith is a natural 125-pounder. Cyborg is -1700 straight up and -200 to win in the first round, which I think is the most likely outcome to the contest. Corey Anderson (-225) vs Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (+185) Rua by T/KO (+470) 1u to win 2.35u I am picking Andersn to win this fight but believe Shogun to be a live dog. I think there is a decent chance he clips Anderson and puts him away in front of his fellow Brazilian crowd. I see value in this prop at it’s current price tag and think it’s worth the squeeze of the trigger. Nate Marquardt (+300) vs Thiago Santos (-360) Santos by T/KO (-165) 1.65u to win 1u Santos in Round One (+115) 1u to win 1.15u In short, I think Santos makes short work of the veteran Marquardt, finishing him with strikes in the very first round of action. I believe Marquardt is done and Santos is constantly improving. I see him earning a notable victory and another highlight-reel finish in this contest. John Lineker (-160) vs Rob Font (+140) Font by Decision (+355) 1u to win 3.55u Putting it simply, I think this is the most likely outcome to this bantamweight contest and I see value in the current betting line.
