Two-Way Parlay for UFC 195

scott_holtzmanUFC 195 Date: January 2, 2016 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Champion (UFC) is back in Las Vegas yet again on January 2nd to kick off the 2016 calendar year with UFC 195: Lawler vs Condit. The stacked 12-fight card is set to kick off with Fight Pass prelims at 6:30pm ET and televised prelims to follow on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm ET. The five-fight main card will get underway at 10pm ET on Pay Per View. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Featherweight bout: Brian Ortega (-230) vs Diego Brandao (+190) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Ortega is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 145-pound contest and that he has the brighter future in the UFC. I see him as a possible title contender in the future, whereas I think Brandao would be lucky to crack the division’s Top 10. I see “T-City” getting the better of Ortega wheever this fight goes and ultimately putting him away by T/KO or submission. Ortega is the better fighter and I believe he will get his hand raised, remaining undefeated as a pro. I think he should be a -400 betting favorite in this spot, so I see great value in him at his current asking price of -230. Gabe’s Call: Ortega by T/KO (strikes, 2:13 round 1) Lightweight bout: Drew Dober (+140) vs Scott Holtzman (-160) Gabe’s Thoughts: Dober is game and a solid lightweight, but Holtzman is simply the better fighter of the two heading into this 155-pound scrap. I see this fight playing out on the feet, where I think Holtzman will find success mixing things up and outstriking Dober for three rounds of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think he should be a -400 betting favorite heading into this match-up, so I see incredible value in him at his current offering price of -160. Gabe’s Call: Holtzman by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Ortega (-230) and Holtzman (-160) at +133 for 5u to win 6.65u
