Titan FC 35’s Dez Green: ‘I’ll force Andre Harrison to use his hands’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC 35 featherweight Dez Green as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event title fight this Saturday (September 19, 2015) at the Clark County Fairgrounds Events Center in Ridgefield, Washington.

The former champion feels plenty prepared for Harrison’s wrestling and he doesn’t think his opponent will offer much else if he can stop that weapon:

“[Andre Harrison’s] a one-track guy. He likes to wrestle. That’s what he does. I haven’t seen him open up with his hands yet. I actually watched the fight in person with him and Kurt [Holobaugh] knowing I was gonna be facing the winner and I was impressed with his wrestling per se, but the things he was doing to Kurt, he’s not gonna shoot a double leg on me. I’m a division I wrestler freestyle American and I’m used to that. I’ll force him to use his hands and I’ll even get a takedown if I want. I feel like I have that first step explosive power and striking. I think this is a great match-up for me. I think it’s a great style match-up. I know if I stop his takedown, he’s not going to threaten me with much else. I’m confident in this win.”
