Preliminary Card Parlay for UFC 189

CedenoUFC 189 Date: July 11, 2015 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is headed back to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, July 11th for UFC 189. The stacked card will feature 11 bouts in entirety, including two title fights. Main card action is set to get underway at 10pm ET on Pay Per View, with a four fight preliminary card preceding it at 8pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and a pair of scraps beforehand on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my preliminary card parlay for UFC 189: Bantamweight bout: Cody Garbrandt (-600) vs Henry Briones (+450) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I think this fight is going to be a walk in the park for Garbrandt, who I see going 2-0 in the UFC’s bantamweight division with another T/KO finish in this contest. Gabe’s Call: Garbrandt by T/KO (punches, 3:56 round 1) Lightweight bout: Cody Pfister (+165) vs Yosdenis Cedeno (-190) Gabe’s Thoughts: Cedeno will undoubtedly have massive advantages in size, strength and striking heading into this contest. I believe he will use said advantages to beat Pfister, most likely via T/KO. Pfister is tough and it’s no secret he will be trying to do nothing but wrestle Cedeno from the moment the two square off. I don’t think he is going to find success with his wrestlng, as I see him getting battered, and eventually stopped. Perhaps after this contest, the UFC will give Pfister a fight in his natural weight class of 145-pounds. He looked very undersized in his promotional debut against James Moontasri, who dominated and won the fight via second round TKO. Gabe’s Call: Cedeno by T/KO (strikes, 1:40 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Garbrandt (-600) and Cedeno (-190) at -129 for 4.55u to win 3.55u
