Quick One-Liners for UFC 184 in Los Angeles

Cat ZinganoIn one line, I will be providing my own personal description for every fight ahead of us at tonight’s UFC 184 in Los Angeles. I will also be following the Twitter rule of thumb of keeping them in 140 characters or less. The event will feature an entirety of 11 bouts, including a five-fight main card that will be live on Pay Per View at 10pm ET. Preliminary action will precede it at 8pm ET on FOX Sports 1, with a pair of scraps coming before that on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET. If interested on making any wagers for this fight card, all lines will be made available to you at Several Bookmakerss. Without further ado, here are my one-liners for UFC 184… MAIN CARD (PAY-PER-VIEW) Ronda Rousey vs Cat Zingano Some wonder if Zingano is the one to stop Rousey, but most wonder how much time it’s going to take for Rousey to stop Zingano. Holly Holm vs Raquel Pennington Holly Holm finally makes her UFC debut, and with a win, she will likely get a shot at the winner of Rousey vs Zingano for her next outing. Josh Koscheck vs Jake Ellenberger It’s do-or-die time for these welterweight veterans who have each suffered three consecutive defeats. Alan Jouban vs Richard Walsh 170-pound match-up with a recipe for fireworks, and I expect these two to go to war tomorrow night in what could be a contender for FOTN. Tony Ferguson vs Gleison Tibau Winner of this lightweight bout will extend his W-streak and crack the division’s top 15, while the loser will return to the drawing board. PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX SPORTS 1) Mark Munoz vs Roan Carneiro Another important battle between a pair of veterans and this one headlines the evening’s televised preliminary card on FOX Sports 1. Kid Yamamoto vs Roman Salazar Yamamoto is one of the many longtime veterans on this card who is in dire need of a win, and standing in his way is ex-cable guy Salazar. Dhiego Lima vs Tim Means Lima and Means look for another win on their way up the UFC’s 170-pound ladder in what could be a sleeper for the evening’s ‘FOTN’ bonus. Derrick Lewis vs Ruan Potts It’s tough to imagine this heavyweight contest ending any way but brutally. PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC FIGHT PASS) James Krause vs Valmir Lazaro Even though this lightweight bout has the potential of being entertaining, I find myself completely disinterested. Masio Fullen vs Alexander Torres Couple of TUF: Latin America rejects make their UFC debuts down at the bottom of the prelims, and fittingly so.
