Gabe Killian’s Three-Way Parlay for UFC Fight Night 54 in Nova Scotia

Pedro MunhozUFC Fight Night 54 Date: October 4, 2014 Arena: Scotiabank Centre City: Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns with another double-header on Saturday with UFC Fight Night 53 in Sweden and UFC Fight Night 54 in Nova Scotia. UFC Fight Night 54 will be live from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada with a 12-fight card, including a main card that will be live on FOX Sports 1 at 10pm ET. Preliminary action will be getting going on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET, then following on FOX Sports 2 at 8pm ET. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my three-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 54 in Nova Scotia: Middleweight bout: Bruno Santos (+280) vs Elias Theodorou (-400) Gabe’s Thoughts: The only way I think Santos has a shot in hell at winning this fight is by laying on top of Theodorou for the majority of three rounds and grinding him out, and I have a very hard time seeing that happening. I think this is going to be a fight tailor-made for Theodorou to showcase his skills, likely dominating Santos en route to an early stoppage, similar to how he made his Octagon debut earlier in the year. I don’t believe the Brazilian stands a chance in this fight, so at the current betting line of -400, I love Theodorou as the first leg for my three-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 54 in Nova Scotia, as I personally think he should be a -1000 favorite heading into this 185 pound contest. Gabe’s Call: Theodorou by T/KO (strikes, 4:54, round 1) Lightweight bout: Jake Lindsey (+280) vs Olivier Aubin-Mercier (-400) Gabe’s Thoughts: I am expecting Aubin-Mercier to completely dominate Lindsey in this match-up, very likely earning an early stoppage. I think he will score the takedown very early and before long will have a rear naked choke sunk in to earn the tap from Lindsey. At the current betting line of -400, I believe Aubin-Mercier still holds a lot of value, as I personally think he should be a -1500 favorite over Lindsey in this bout. Outside of a DQ or the luckiest punch since Serra vs GSP, I don’t see how Aubin-Mercier loses this fight, so I really like him as the second leg for my three-way parlay in for Saturday night in Nova Scotia. Gabe’s Call: Aubin-Mercier by Submission (rear naked choke, 1:49 round 1) Lightweight bout: Jerrod Sanders (+265) vs Pedro Munhoz (-385) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is another fight on the card in which I expect complete domination. I don’t believe Sanders has anything to offer here and think Munhoz is simply going to run through him, stopping him if not taking home a lopsided unanimous decision. This is the very first bout on the evening’s preliminary card, and I think it will start the night off on a high note with a highlight-reel finish being delivered by Munhoz. Much like the two other fights in this three-way parlay, I have a very hard time seeing any other outcome other than Munhoz getting his hand raised. I see a lot of value in the Brazilian at the current betting line of -385, as I think he should be a -900 favorite heading into this 155-pound scrap, so I will definitely be including it as the third and final leg for my three-teamer here. Gabe’s Call: Munhoz by T/KO (strikes, 2:13 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Theodorou (-400) parlayed with Aubin-Mercier (-400) and Munhoz (-385) for -104 4.7u to win 4.55u
