WSOF 8’s Cody Bollinger: ‘Tyson Nam’s striking is probably better than mine’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting 8 bantamweight Cody Bollinger as he prepares for his main card bout next Saturday night (Jan. 18, 2013) against Tyson Nam at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

The Bellator and Ultimate Fighter season 18 veteran has learned from his mistakes and plans on taking his powerful grappling abilities to the center stage of WSOF this weekend:

“Every aspect of MMA is important to learn, but I feel wrestling is the best base to start with. Like Tyson Nam, his striking is probably better than mine. We’ll see when we fight. If it is, I have the ability to take it to the ground or keep it standing if  I want, and that’s why I think so many champions are wrestlers because they can dictate where the fight goes.”
