UFC 165 ‘Knockout of the Night’ Betting Props

Jesse-RonsonUFC 165 Knockout of the Night Betting Props UFC on 164 is live from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada tonight! The 13-fight card will feature many exciting fights, and likely plenty of finishes. The UFC will be handing out a $50,000 bonus for Knockout of the Night — the option to bet on which fighter will win said bonus is only available at Several Bookmakerss. Gabe’s #1 Play for Knockout of the Night: Jesse Ronson +1800 — Ronson is a very dangerous striker who loves to work the body. While his opponent is a durable Brazilian, I think Ronson can hurt him on the feet and have the fight stopped. Other considerations: Eddie Wineland +2000 — If Eddie Wineland wins this fight, it’s most likely going to come by way of knockout. Should that happen, it would all but guarantee him the award. If you’re backing Wineland in this match-up, then this is the bet you should be looking at. Matt Mitrione +650 — Sure, it’s possible Mitrione could take a decision here, but more likely, if he gets his hand raised, it’s going to be because he put Brendan Schaub into a deep sleep. I’m still unsure of who I’m siding with in this fight, or if I’ll even play it at all. But I know one thing; if I decide to go with Mitrione, this will be the play I hit, because the return on this is much greater than Mitrione by KO +130. Consta Philipou +1350 — Philipou hits hard, and that’s the bottom line. Carmont doesn’t like to get hit and if Philipou starts putting those vicious combinatiouns together, it could spell trouble for Carmont. Considering the odds, there is value here. Stephen Thompson +700 — Thompson is the much superior striker in this match-up. His opponent, Chris Clements is not likely to take all that Thompson will be able to dish. I think Thompson will connect with a beautiful knee to the body that will make Clements wilt, causing the ref to step in and stop the action. The odds aren’t too great, but he’s got a very good shot at taking home the prize.
