Bellator is back with Bellator 182: Koreshkov vs. Njokuani live this Friday night (August 25, 2017) from Verona, NY. Main card action for this fight card will get going on Spike TV at 9 p.m. (ET). If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are available at Several Bookmakers.

Here are my plays:

Featherweight bout: AJ McKee (-1600) vs. Blair Tugman (+1050)

Gabe’s Thoughts: Tugman is a game opponent and a tough out, but I think McKee is more than capable of getting him out of there, and doing so early. I believe Tugman is a “journeyman” type and a step down in competition for McKee following his dominant victory over Dominic Mazzotta. The price is right here at -1600, as I expect this to be a one-sided contest that likely does not last too long. At -130, I like the Total of Under 1.5 rounds for a play here, as I think that line should be -160.

Gabe’s Call: McKee by Submission (guillotine or D’Arce, 2:13 round 1)

Gabe’s Recommended Play: McKee/Tugman Under 1.5 rounds (-130)

Women’s Strawweight bout: Veta Arteaga (-190) vs. Bruna Ellen (+165)

Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Arteaga is the superior fighter heading into this bout, and unless she gets caught by a funky armbar or something, I see her walking away with a victory. I think her advantage in wrestling will be the main difference maker, as I see her scoring takedowns and spend the majority of the fight in top position. I think it is 50/50 as to whether she finishes this fight or takes home the victory on the judges’ scorecards. At -190, I like Arteaga for a play here, as I think she should be a -280 betting favorite heading into this contest.

Gabe’s Call: Arteaga by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

Gabe’s Recommended Play: Arteaga (-190)
