Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 2 Opening Betting Odds

Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series 2 emanates from The Ultimate Fighter Gym on Tuesday (July 18, 2017) at 8 p.m. (ET) live on UFC Fight Pass. In the main event, TUF 19 competitor Dan Spohn looks for his fourth straight win when he battles Angel DeAnda.

Spohn (15-5) has gone 7-1 since being released from the UFC in 2014, with five of those victories coming by stoppage. The 32-year-old — who trains with UFC champion Stipe Miocic — will be competing for the third time this year. Meanwhile, DeAnda (18-5) heads into this matchup on a six-fight win streak. The WSOF veteran moves up to the light-heavyweight division for the first time since 2015.

In the co-main event, undefeated Sean O’Malley looks for his eighth win in a row when he takes on Alfred Khashakyan. O’Malley (7-0) is coming off a highlight-reel victory at LFA 11 where he knocked out David Nuzzo in the first round. The MMA Lab standout has won six of his seven career fights by finish. Khashakyan (8-3) is perhaps best known for losing to Ricardo Ramos at NEF: Dana White’s Lookin For a Fight. The 28-year-old has won three of his last four fights, including a TKO victory over UFC veteran Chris Beal in his last fight.

A pair of highly touted featherweights will also square off on the main card, as Thanh Le battles American Top Team standout Lazar Stojadinovic. Le (6-1) was upset by Martin Svensson on Season 22 of The Ultimate Fighter in losing by submission. Since then, the 31-year-old has won back-to-back fights by knockout over Cody James and Alex Black. Stojadinovic (12-5) hasn’t lost since 2009, and he is coming off an impressive unanimous-decision victory over former Bellator title challenger Mike Richman at LFA 2 in January. The 28-year-old is on an eight-fight win streak, with five of those victories coming by stoppage.

In the welterweight division, Sidney Outlaw will go for his fourth straight win when he squares off against Michael Cora. Outlaw (8-3) picked up the vacant Ring of Combat lightweight title after defeating James Rumley by submission last month at Ring of Combat 59. The 25-year-old boast four career wins by submission. Cora (4-1) heads into this matchup off five straight wins by knockout. The Tampa, Florida native hasn’t lost a fight since his professional debut in 2015.

Rounding out the card is a pivotal matchup in the flyweight division, as Casey Kenney takes on fellow LFA veteran Cee Jay Hamilton. Kenney (6-0-1) is a former Tachi Palace Fights flyweight champion and has won five of his fights by stoppage. A protege of UFC veteran Chris Cariaso, Kenney has spent a good portion of his fight camp training at The MMA Lab for this fight. Hamilton (11-4) is riding a five-fight win streak into this matchup, including a unanimous-decision victory over Jesse Bazzi at LFA 8. “The Autobot” hasn’t lost a fight since July 2015.
