MMA Odds and Ends for Tuesday: Logan Storley signs with Bellator, Edmonton hosts UFC 215

FloCombat broke the news Monday that undefeated welterweight prospect Logan Storley has signed with Bellator MMA.

Storley (5-0) heads into this matchup off a TKO victory over Andres Murray at LFA Sioux Falls Fight Night 1 April 29. The 24-year-old, who is a main training partner of Michael Chandler, has won all of his fights by knockout. Storley was a four-time Division I All-American wrestler out of the University of Minnesota.

Edmonton now hosts UFC 215 on Sept. 9 with Aug. 19 event cancelled

UFC officials announced Monday that the Las Vegas-based promotion is no longer hosting a Pay-Per-View event on August 19th. Instead, UFC 216 in Edmonton will be renamed UFC 215. The UFC’s return to Alberta will take place on September 9th at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
