MMA Odds and Ends for Wednesday: Andrei Arlovski vs. Marcin Tybura added to UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore

480 Andrei Arlovski vs. Marcin Tybura added to UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore  UFC officials announced Tuesday that former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will clash with Marcin Tybura at UFC Fight Night 111 in Singapore on June 17th. Arlovski (25-14, 1 No-Contest) is in dire need of a victory after suffering four straight losses heading into this matchup. The 38-year-old will be looking for his first win since September 2015. Tybura (15-2) is coming off stoppage victories over Luis Henrique and Viktor Pesta. The former M-1 Challenge champion has gone 2-1 in the UFC, with his only blemish coming in his promotional debut against Timothy Johnson at UFC Fight Night 86. Also added to the card is a lightweight affair pitting Takanori Gomi (35-12- 1 NC) against Jon Tuck (9-4), Justin Scoggins (11-3) moves back down to flyweight to battle Ulka Sasaki (19-4-2) while bantamweights Kwan Ho Kwak (9-1) and Russell Doane (14-7) go to war. In addition, heavyweight Walt Harris (9-5) takes on Cyril Asker (8-2). Ilima-Lei Macfarlane vs. Jessica Middleton set for Bellator 178 co-main event A pair of flyweight prospects clash in the co-main event of Bellator 178 as Ilima-Lei Macfarlane squares off with Jessica Middleton. Bellator officials recently announced the booking. Macfarlane (5-0) is coming off a unanimous-decision victory over Emily Ducote at Bellator 167 in December. The 26-year-old has gone 4-0 in Bellator with two of those victories coming by way of submission. Middleton (2-0) heads into this matchup following her unanimous-decision win over Alice Yauger in January. The Kansas native made her pro debut last year at Bellator 159 and defeated Brazilian prospect Bruna Ellen by unanimous decision. Bellator 178 is headlined by a featherweight title fight between champion Daniel Straus and Patricio Freire, who will be battling for the fourth time. No other matchups have been announced yet.
