Prop Plays for UFC Fight Night 96

Nate MarquardtUFC Fight Night 96: Lineker vs Dodson Date: October 1, 2016 Arena: Moda Center City: Portland, OR The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will be heading to Portland, OR for the second time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 96: Lineker vs Dodson. The 12-fight card is set to kick off with preliminary action on UFC Fight Pass at 7:15pm ET, which will continue on FOX Sports 2 at 9pm. Main card action will get going at 11pm on FOX Sports 1. If interested in wagering on any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakers. Here are my prop plays: John Dodson (-120) vs John Lineker (+110) Lineker by Decision (+484) 1u to win 4.84u I think there’s a good chance that Dodson feels Lineker’s power in the first round and dances around for the remainder of the bout, attempting to outpoint Lineker for a decision victory. However, I think Lineker’s power shots will be the difference in the match-up and he will ultimately walk away with the win on the scorecards. I liked this play a lot better at +700 but I think it still holds value. Will Brooks (-295) vs Alex Oliveira (+265) Brooks by Decision (-125) 2.5u to win 2u Putting it simply, I think this is the most likely outcome to this scrap. I have a hard time seeing Brooks finishing Oliveira, as the Brazilian “Cowboy” is durable and tough to put away. Nate Marquardt (+165) vs Tamdan McCrory (-175) Marquardt in Round One (+450) .5u to win 2.25u I think if Marquardt wins, it will most likely be via first round finish. Kelly Faszholz (-115) vs Ketlen Vieira (+105) Faszholz -3.5 (+170) 1u to win 3.5u I bellieve Faszholz is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this women’s 135-pound contest and I see her getting the better of the undefeated Brazilian promotional newcomer for all three rounds of action to pick up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.
