Here are my quick thoughts on the UFC 332 Opening Odds:
- The main event of UFC 332 is a vacant UFC women’s flyweight title bout between Natalia Silva and Wand Cong. Silva is 8-0 in the UFC and is riding a 14-fight win streak overall. She has proven to be a phenomenal talent at 125 lbs and is now just one win away from winning the ultimate prize in her weight class. As for Wang, she is 6-1 in the UFC, and she is riding a four-fight win streak at the moment heading into this fight. While Wang is a fantastic striker and will have a puncher’s chance to win this fight, it’s very difficult to go against Silva to claim the vacant title.
- In the co-main event, we have a bantamweight bout between Payton Talbott and Deiveson Figueiredo. Talbott is 5-1 overall in the UFC and has won two straight fights heading into this matchup. As for Figueiredo, he is the former UFC flyweight champion, and he enters this bout coming off four losses in his last five bouts. This looks like a massive mismatch on paper, because unless Figueiredo can get his wrestling going, he’s going to get dominated everywhere this fight goes by the younger, bigger Talbott.
