Here are my initial thoughts on the Opening Odds for LFA 108:

  • The main event for LFA 108 sees the promotion’s vacant middleweight belt on the line between Josh Fremd (7-1) and Gregory Rodrigues (8-3). The 27-year-old Fremd has won his last five fights in a row, with his last three wins in the LFA coming by knockout. A Bellator veteran as well, Fremd seems like a very good prospect who is still getting better. In Fremd’s last fight, he knocked out Dana White’s Contender Series alum Bruno Oliveira, and now he takes on another DWCS alum in Rodrigues. The 29-year-old Rodrigues is coming off of a knockout win over yet another DWCM alum in Al Matavao in his last fight as well, after getting knocked out by Jordan Williams on the show. Oliveira does have a good ground game and could finish if this fight hits the floor, but overall Fremd seems like the rightful favorite here.
  • The co-main event is a flyweight bout between Mark Climaco (5-0) and Rodney Kealohi (5-1). Climaco is a 25-year-old AKA product who has won all five of his pro bout since 2017, albeit against inexperienced competition. As for Kealohi, he is a Jackson Wink product who has won his last four fights by knockout. Climaco is unbeaten so it’s understandable to see him as the favorite here, but Kealohi is a dangerous finisher and seems like he could be a live dog.
