Yoel Romero Wins By Decision (+305)

This is another one of those weird Yoel Romero fights where he nor his opponent will be outright winning each round. Romero can have a way of making fights boring at times and often stale now with his style of being so explosive yet patient and often gunshy.

I can see this fight with Phil Davis becoming a very slow and inactive type of fight – where neither man wants to engage yet not lose at the same time. It could come down to just a handful of strikes thrown per round where the slightest difference can reward the round to the one who looks as the aggressor. Romero could also land a bomb of a strike or knee at any point in this fight and change the entire story of the bout as well. I do not expect wrestling to be a major point in this fight as both are very talented in that department and usually leads to a standup type of fight. If anyone is to land major takedowns in this fight I would have to lean Romero due to his freak athleticism, explosiveness, and ability to cover ground very quickly. I think Phil Davis will most likely be the one who looks to be the aggressor with Romero backing up but, I will gladly take a 3/1 shot on a Romero decision prop.

Thanks for reading and best of luck!
