Three-Way Parlay for Invicta FC 18

alexa-grassoInvicta FC 18: Grasso vs Esquibel Date: July 30, 2016 Arena: Scottish Rite Temple City: Kansas City, KS Invicta Fighting Championship (Invicta FC) returns to Kansas with Invicta FC 18: Grasso vs Esquibel. The eight fight card will be streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 8pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Strawweight bout: Alexa Grasso (-425) vs Jodie Esquibel (+305) Gabe’s Thoughts: Grasso is the superior striker heading into this main event contest and I see her finding success in defending Esquibel’s takedown attempts, keeping the fight on the feet and outstriking her foe for the majority if 15 minutes of action en route to picking up another well deserved unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I really see this as being her fight to lose and I just don’t see Esquibel finding a way to pull it off. Even at her heavily juiced price of -425, I think Grasso holds some value here. Gabe’s Call: Grasso by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Strawweight bout: Mizuki Inoue (-445) vs Lynn Alvarez (+315) Gabe’s Thoughts: Inoue has a grappling advantage over Alvarez heading into this contest and I see her employing her superior grappling to dominate Alvarez for the majority of three rounds for a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. She is taking this fight on short notice, but I don’t expect that to play a factor with her performance or cardio. I think she will convincingly win each and every round in this bout and is worthy of her juiced up -445 betting line. I just don’t think Alvarez is going to have any answers in this contest. While I think she survives to see the judges’ scorecards, I don’t think she will get much done in the fight, as I expect her to spend the majority of it on her back. Gabe’s Call: Inoue by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Featherweight bout: Megan Anderson (-350) vs Peggy Morgan (+250) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I think Morgan is outgunned in this match-up. She has been in the mixed martial arts game longer than Anderson but I believe Anderson is the superior fighter, and she is a very capable finisher. I see her outstriking Morgan in this bout, hurting her and likely putting her away via T/KO. Gabe’s Call: Anderson by T/KO (strikes, 2:43 round 2) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Grasso (-425), Inoue (-445) and Anderson (-350) at -106 for 2u to win 1.89u
