UFC on Fox 11’s Pat Healy: ‘I got my passion back’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC on Fox 11 lightweight Pat Healy as he prepares for his preliminary card bout tonight (April 19, 2014) against Jorge Masvidal at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

The scrappy veteran is currently riding a two-fight skid, but he believes he has his fire back and it’ll all come out in the Masvidal bout:

“To be honest, I feel like I got my passion back. I was doing a lot of different stuff leading up to my last couple fights. A lot more conditioning than I’ve ever done and I don’t really like doing that. It was draining me out and I wasn’t looking forward to practice. I really wanted to get back to what I love in this sport. I was doing a lot of wrestling and grappling. I still work my cardio and boxing, but I certainly want my wrestling to be a big part of this fight.”
