Elite Grappling Coach Ricky Lundell: ‘Travis Browne is developing at lightning speed’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with elite grappling instructor Ricky Lundell, who prepared UFC on Fox 11 headliner Travis Browne for his heavyweight number one contender bout tonight (April 19, 2014) against Fabricio Werdum at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

The incredibly respected Brazilian jiu-jitsu and wrestling expert has been spending a significant amount of time with Browne and he feels “Hapa’s” hard work is paying huge dividends:

“Travis comes from a background where he’s already a gritty person. He develops this skill rather quickly. He enjoys the onset of somebody else’s pain, which is a huge help in my field. He likes watching them wither, flounder in teh water and drown themselves. I spent a lot of time with Travis and making this happen. It all started coming together before the Barnett camp and the Overeem camp…He’s developing at lightning speed.”
