BREAKING: UFC veteran Jordan Mein coming out retirement, wants to fight in October

UFC veteran Jordan Mein to come out of retirement Monday on The Joe Rogan Experience, Bas Rutten revealed that Canadian Jordan Mein is coming out of retirement (see 1:42:56 mark below). This afternoon I confirmed with both the UFC and Mein’s father Lee that not only is the 26-year old planning a MMA comeback but that he’s still under UFC contract. “He wants to fight again, hoping for October if anything comes up” Lee Mein explained. “He is still under UFC contract. Waiting on USADA rules to get cleared to fight”  Mein just needs to enter the USADA testing pool and hopes to fight in October. Mein (29-10) retired in August 2015 at 25-years of age. He last saw action at UFC 183 back in January 2015, where he suffered a TKO loss to Thiago Alves. The now 26-year old, who lives Lethbridge, Alberta has a UFC record of 3-2, with wins over Dan Miller, Hernani Perpétuo and Mike Pyle. The UFC official I spoke with confirmed that Mein had contacted the Las Vegas based promotion last month about coming out of retirement. Stay tuned to MMAOddsbreaker.com when more details emerge on Mein’s comeback fight.
