UFC 200’s Gegard Mousasi: ‘My stand-up is so much better and it will overcome’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 200 middleweight Gegard Mousasi as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout this Saturday night (July 9, 2016) against Thiago Santos at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The former Strikeforce champion had a chance in opponent, but he’s not too concerned about the different fighting style that he’ll be facing:

“I was training for a wrestler and now this is a guy I can take down… [Thiago Santos’] takedowns are not so great, but he goes for it. He kicks a lot. He’s a tough opponent, I believe, but I think my stand-up is so much better and it will overcome and he will fade over time.”
