Alberto Uda takes on newcomer Marvin Vettori added to UFC 202 UFC officials announced Wednesday that the promotion has signed Marvin Vettori and he’ll take on Alberto Uda at UFC 202. Uda (9-1) came up short in his UFC debut back in May, suffering a second round knockout to Jake Collier. It was the first professional loss in Uda’s career. Vettori (10-2) heads into his debut on a five-fight win streak. He’s coming off a submission victory over Igor Araujo at Venator FC 3. UFC 202 takes place Aug. 20 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Sanchez (13-2) heads into the matchup off a three-fight win streak, including a split decision nod over Daniel Pineda at Bellator 149. Weichel (36-9) scored a decision victory over Georgi Karakhanyan at Bellator 147. The 31-year old has won eight of his last nine fights. Other additions to the main card include light heavyweights Philipe Lins (9-1) vs. Guilherme Viana (7-2 ) and woman’s strawweight bout between Bruna Ellen (2-0) and Jessica Middleton (0-0). Bellator 159 takes place July 22 from Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.
