Main Card Parlay for UFC Fight Night 87

Stefan StruveUFC Fight Night 87 Date: April 23, 2016 Arena: Ahoy Rotterdam City: Rotterdam, Netherlands The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to The Netherlands for the first time in promotional history with UFC Fight Night 87: Overeem vs Arlovski. The 12-fight card will kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 10am ET with prelminary action, which will continue on FOX Sports 1 at noon ET, and the main card will get underway on the same channel at 2pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Heavyweight bout: Antonio Silva (+165) vs Stefan Struve (-190) Gabe’s Thoughts: At this point in their careers, I believe Struve is the better fighter and possesses the better chin. I think Silva is on his way out and a loss to Struve could likely send him into retirement. I believe Struve should be a -280 betting favorite in this contest, so at his current offering price of -190, I like him for a leg in this two-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 87. Gabe’s Call: Struve by T/KO (punches, 1:33 round 1) Welterweight bout: Albert Tumenov (-170) vs Gunnar Nelson (+150) Gabe’s Thoughts: Tumenov is undoubtedly the superior striker of the two heading into this bout, which is a classic ‘striker vs grappler’ match-up, considering Nelson is one of the best grapplers in the UFC and is a real threat with submissions on the mat, where he would hold a massive advantage over the Russian. In this main event contest scheduled for three rounds, I think Tumenov will find success in keeping this fight standing, where he wll batter Nelson and ultimately stop him with strikes. Nelson is tough but I think his size and strength disadvantage against Tumenov may prove to be too much. I think there’s a good chance he gets finished for the first time in his professional mixed martial arts career. Gabe’s Call: Tumenov by T/KO (strikes, 3:23 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Struve (-190) and Tumenov (-170) at +142 for 3.55u to win 5.05u
