Over/Under Totals for Titan FC 38 on UFC Fight Pass

Steve-CarlTitan FC 38 Date: April 30, 2016 Arena: Miccosukee Casino City: Miami, FL Titan Fighting Championship will be live from Miami, FL tonight with Titan FC 38: Carl vs Muhammad. The action kicks off on UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my Over/Under Totals: Welterweight title bout: Belal Muhammad (-115) vs Steve Carl (-105) Gabe’s Thoughts: I agree with the betting odds in that this is a very close match-up, though I see value in the Total of Over 3.5 rounds at +158, as I think it is more-or-less a coin-flip whether this 170-pound title fight goes over three and a half rounds or not. Carl is certainly the toughest test of Muhammad’s professional mixed martial arts career, though he is a solid prospect in his own right, training out of the Roufusport camp in Milwaukee, WI with the likes of Ben Askren and Anthony Pettis. Gabe’s Call: Carl by Submission (rear naked choke, 3:43 round 2) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Under 3.5 rounds (+158) 1u to win 1.58u Lightweight bout: Jason Novelli (-130) vs Yosdenis Cedeno (+110) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is another match-up on this fight card in which I agree with the betting odds. I see this as a very close fight, as the odds suggest, and see no betting value on either opponent. That said, I do think the Total of Over 2.5 rounds is worth a play at -170, considering I believe this lightweight scrap hits the judges’ scorecards for a decision more often than not. I think the line for the over should be -230, so I like it for a play at the current price. Gabe’s Call: Cedeno by Split Decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Over 2.5 rounds (-170) 1.7u to win 1u
