Two-Way Parlay for UFC Fight Night 85 in Australia

Alan JoubanUFC Fight Night 85 Date: March 16, 2016 Arena: Brisbane Entertainment Centre City: Brisbane, Australia The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Brisbane, Australia for the second time in promotional histry with UFC Fight Night 85: Hunt vs Mir. The action-packed card will feature 13 bouts in entirety, with the main card getting going at 10pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 8pm ET, with a trio of bouts before it on UFC Fight Pass at 6:30pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts for this fight card, all betting lines are currently made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Middleweight bout: Antonio Carlos Junior (-550) vs Dan Kelly (+425) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe ACJ is going to completely overwhelm Kelly on the feet and either finish him standing or on the mat with a ground and pound attack. I see this being a completely one sided fight in favor of the Brazilian and I think he stands a good chance of making quick work of Kelly. I don’t see how Kelly wins this fight, the only victory he can hope for is to last three full rounds with ACJ, and I am personally not counting on it. I think it is highly likely that the Brazilian adds another highlight to his reel next Saturday night in Australia. Gabe’s Call: ACJ by T/KO (punches, 1:12 round 1) Welterweight bout: Alan Jouban (-500) vs Brendan O’Reilly (+400) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe Jouban is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 170-pound contest and holds advantages in every department. I think his advantages in physical size, striking and submissions will benefit him in this contest, as I see him overpowering O’Reilly on the feet, hurting him with strikes, and either finishing him with a T/KO or taking control of him on the mat and ending putting him away with a submission, which would mark his first inside the Octagon. Jouban prefers to strike and generally goes for the T/KO finish, but he has a great Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game and O’Reily is durable, so the fight could hit the mat, and it may come down to Jouban’s Jiu-Jitsu. Gabe’s Call: Jouban by Submission (rear naked choke, 1:$3 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: ACJ (-550) and Jouban (-500) at -240 for 4.8u to win 2u
