WSOF 29’s Brian Foster: ‘I’m not just the next guy in line’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting 29 lightweight Brian Foster as he prepares for his upcoming main event title fight this Saturday night (March 12, 2016) against Justin Gaethje at the Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colorado.

The current lightweight champion is still undefeated and he feels he’s only just now beginning to tap into his potential as a complete mixed martial artist:

“I’m damn sure not just the next guy in line. I’m THE guy that’s taking the title from [Justin Gaethje]. I’m not just any guy he’s ever fought. He’s never fought a guy like me, man. I’ve dissected everybody he’s ever fought and there’s not anybody even close to who I am. I’m the most complete fighter he’s ever fought. He’s fought guys who were kickboxers, guys who were wrestler, guys with one hand, it’s too far in between. I’ve fought studs. Everybody I’ve ever fought was supposed to beat me and Gaethje is no different. I’m unlike anybody he’s ever fought before and he can’t talk shit like he does to everybody else.”
