Your Best Bets for UFC on FOX 17’s ‘Fight of the Night’

karolina_kowalkiewicz_poseUFC on FOX 17 Date: December 19, 2015 Arena: Amway Center City: Orlando, FL The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns this Saturday (December 19, 2015) to Orlando, FL with UFC on FOX 17: Dos Anjos vs Cerrone 2. The action-packed 13 fight card will get going with the Fight Pass prelims at 3:30pm ET and the FOX Sports 1 prelims to follow at 5pm ET, with main card action getting underway at 8pm ET on FOX. If interested in wagering on these ‘FOTN’ props or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. The ‘Fight of the Night’ plays that hold the most value are: Markos/Kowalkiewicz +1250 || 1u to win 12.5u Kowalkiewicz is making her promotional debut in this contest against Markos, who has made TriStar MMA her new home for this bout. I believe these are two talented fighters in the UFC’s women’s strawweight division and I think there is a very good chance they put on a fun fight for the fans. This is a main card fight between women and the offering price tag is +1250. I see a world of value in that, as I think this fight stands a good chance of taking home the prize, as long as it proves to be an entertaining contest. It is no secret that Dana White likes giving the bonus to heavyweight fights, flyweight fights and women’s fights. I think this fight stands a better chance at taking home the bonus than the JDS/Overeem fight, and at +1250, I can’t pass it up for a play. Should these ladies take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, it would mean the second time for Markos, while being the first for Poland’s Kowalkiewicz in her Octagon debut. Samman/McCrory +850 || 1u to win 8.5u McCrory makes his return to the UFC for his second stint in the big show and he will be looking to put on an impressive performance against Samman, who will be looking to do just the same in an effort to earn his fourth straight victory inside the Octagon, which is no easy feat in the UFC’s middleweight division. I think McCrory and Samman are both very entertaining 185-pound athletes and I am personally a fan of both. I think there is a good chance they will put on an entertaining battle for the fans this evening in Orlando. Should these middleweights take home the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus, it would be the first time for both, as they own none in a combined 10 Octagon appearances. Though it is worth noting Samman has collected two ‘Performance of the Night’ checks for his last two bouts.
