Two-Way Parlay for UFC on FOX 17

randa-markosUFC on FOX 17 Date: December 19, 2015 Arena: Amway Center City: Orlando, FL The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns this Saturday (December 19, 2015) to Orlando, FL with UFC on FOX 17: Dos Anjos vs Cerrone 2. The action-packed 13 fight card will get going with the Fight Pass prelims at 3:30pm ET and the FOX Sports 1 prelims to follow at 5pm ET, with main card action getting underway at 8pm ET on FOX. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my parlay: Women’s Strawweight bout: Karolina Kowalkiewicz (+155) vs Randa Markos (-175) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think the Pole is taking a major step up in competition in this her promotional debut and I see Markos getting the better of her every which way for all three rounds of this contest, potentially finding a finish along the way. I think she finds success taking the fight to the mat and working some heavy ground and pound, likely busting Kowalkiewicz open. Again, I think the Pole is outmatched here and I see this as being a showcase fight for Markos, who I expect to deliver an impressive performance and get her hand raised. I think she should be a -230 betting favorite heading into this bout, so at her current offering price of -175, I like her for a leg to this two-way parlay for UFC on FOX 17 in Orlando. Gabe’s Call: Markos by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Middleweight bout: Josh Samman (-170) vs Tamdan McCrory (+150) Gabe’s Thoughts: I see Samman getting the better of McCrory in this 185-pound match-up on the feet and on the mat for three rounds of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. On the mat, I think he works his ground and pound while successfully defending submissions. McCrory’s best chance at victory is catching him with a submission, but I think Samman avoids getting caught, pours on his offense and gets his hand raised. I can see him finishing the fight, especially considering he is a finisher who has put away all of his opponents inside the Octagon, but in this particular match-up, I think he takes the win on the judges’ scorecards more often than not. I think Samman should be a -220 betting favorite headed into this bout, so I like him for a leg to this two-way parlay for Saturday night. Gabe’s Call: Samman by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Markos (-175) and Samman (-170) at +149 for 2.35u to win 3.51u
