Bellator 146’s Brandon Girtz: ‘Derek Campos can’t fall back on his wrestling against me’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 146 lightweight Brandon Girtz as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Friday night (November 20, 2015) against Derek Campos at the WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

The talented 30-year old feels he’s on the brink of making a big move in the Bellator 155-pound division, and it all starts with a big performance this weekend against Campos. Here’s what he had to say about his opponent:

“Derek’s got heavy hands. I think that’s his main thing. What sucks for him is I also see him use his wrestling sometimes which he won’t be able to use against me. Other than that, he’s got heavy hands and he’s a tough guy. He’s got a good double leg once his hands hurt, once he wants to switch directions, but that’s definitely not gonna be anything good for him in this fight.”
