Legacy FC 48’s Josh Quayhagen: ‘I see myself as an underdog’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 48 featherweight Josh Quayhagen in advance of his upcoming co-main event this Friday night (November 13, 2015) against Sean Soriano at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The talented regional veteran is coming off the biggest victory of his career and he feels he’ll be putting himself in a really good position if he can defeat a UFC veteran:

“Man, [Sean Soriano] is another good one. I’m really excited about this. He’s a guy coming from the UFC, only lost in the UFC an outstanding striker, fights out of the Blackzilians. He’s just another good test. He’s a guy that’s impressive to me. From the outside, I see myself as an underdog and I like to be there, especially against a guy that’ll strike and not get into the wrestling game. I worked some takedowns for Njokuani, but I like to tackle and get up and strike again. This is a guy I believe we can do that with. He’s gonna wanna strike and I’m gonna wanna strike but this is a guy where I’ll get to test what I love to do and strike.”
