Colton SmithWSOF 24 Date: October 17, 2015 Arena: Foxwoods Resort Casino City: Mashantucket, CT The World Series of Fighting (WSOF) returns with WSOF 24: Fitch vs Okami. The event will feature 12 bouts in entirety, including a seven fight preliminary card to stream live on the promotion’s website at 7pm ET and a five fight main card to get going on the NBC Sports Network at 9pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here is the parlay… Light Heavyweight bout: Patrick Walsh (-385) vs Tyler King (+295) Gabe’s Thoughts: I could see Walsh outstriking King and potentially knocking him out, but I think he using his wrestling to win this match-up. I expect him to put on a wrestling clinic against King and grind out a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards. Gabe’s Call: Walsh by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Colton Smith (-270) vs Washington Nunes Da Silva (+210) Gabe’s Thoughts: Much like with the Patrick Walsh, I see another UFC veteran in Colton Smith using his superior wrestling to grind out a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think Smith successfully and continously takes the Brazilian down and out grinds him out while succesfully defending his submission attempts over the course of three rounds to pick up the unanimous nod from the judges at cage-side. I think there’s a decent chance Smith finishes Da Silva with a ground and pound TKO, however I think a decision victory is more likely. Gabe’s Call: Smith by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Walsh (-385) and Smith (-270) at -138 for 3.1u to win 2.25u
