Legacy FC 47’s David Vitkay: ‘Wesley Barnes won’t outgrind me’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Legacy FC 47 welterweight David Vitkay about his upcoming co-main event fight this Friday night (October 16, 2015) against Wesley Barnes at the Center Stage Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia.

The 35-year old is looking to make the most of the last few years of his professional career, and he expects his experience on the ground will give him an edge against a fellow wrestler:

“[Wesley Barnes] is good. I don’t think he’s got the experience of me with only five fights or so. He’s a wrestler. I hear he’s a striker but he tends to come into fights and just kinda close the distance and outgrind them, but that’s my game. You’re not gonna outgrind me. I picture, it could be the first round, could be the third round, but I do see me on top of him beating on him and him getting sick and tired of it and doing a stupid mistake and me catching him with something.
