Titan FC 35’s Peter Petties: ‘I like to entertain’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC 35 lightweight Peter Petties as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card match-up today (September 19, 2015) against Muhammad Abed at the Clark County Fairgrounds Events Center in Ridgefield, Washington.

The undefeated prospect has high expectations for his Titan FC debut tonight, and he’s definitely aiming to put on a show if his past performances are a precedent:

“Classifying me, I can be known as a shit-talker, but it’s not shit-talking if it’s the truth. My last fight against Brandon Pennington, I heard his corner tell him to throw his right leg kick. I told him not to do it because I was gonna knock him out. Once he did that, I knocked him out with a counter right hook. I do talk a lot in the cage, but a lot of it is the fighting game. I like to entertain. I’m comfortable with my skill-set. I feel like I know what you’re gonna throw just based on your hips, how your motions look and a lot of people telegraph their shots with punches, kicks, knees, wrestling shots. I can tell when you’re about to do it just by looking at you. I know I’m still young in the game at 2-0, but I’ve had a handful of fights canceled in the last year where I was ready to fight. I could be 7-0 or 8-0 at this point.”
