Prop Plays for UFC Fight Night 74

Patrick CoteUFC Fight Night 74 Date: August 23, 2015 Arena: SaskTel Centre City: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heads to Saskatoon for the first time in promotional history this Sunday (August 23, 2015) for UFC Fight Night 74: Holloway vs Oliveira. The 12-fight card will get going with Fight Pass prelims at 7:00pm, with FOX Sports 1 prelims to follow at 8pm and main card action being live at 10pm ET on FOX Sports 1. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays for UFC Fight Night 74: Charles Oliveira (+200) vs Max Holloway (-240) Oliveira in Round One (+650) .5u to win 3.25u Oliveira [Scorecards = No Action] (+189) 2u to win 3.78u I think there is a decent chance that this fight hits the mat early and “Do Bronx” takes home another submission victory, so I see great value in these lines. Josh Burkman (-135) vs Patrick Cote (+115) Cote by Decision (+230) 1u to win 2.3u Fight Goes to Decision (-155) 1.55u to win 1u This is a fight I think would hit the judges’ scorecards for a decision more often than not, and depending on the mental and injury status of both welterweights, it could be anybody’s night. This particular contest is in Cote’s backyard, so I favor the French-Canadian to take the nod following three rounds of action Chad Laprise (-360) vs Francisco Trinaldo (+300) Laprise in Round Three (+1400) .5u to win 7u I could see Laprise putting Trinaldo away in the final frame, after the Brazilian fades. Trinaldo’s cardio seems to be hit or miss, so at +1400, I think this is a gamble that’s definitely worth the risk. Felipe Arantes (-200) vs Yves Jabouin (+170) Fight Goes to Decision (-160) 1.6u to win 1u Jabouin by Decision (+300) 1u to win 3u My feelings on this bout are similar to my feelings on the Burkman/Cote bout. For my full write-up on this 135-pound contest, I refer you to my fight article for the scrap. Marcos Rogerio de Lima (-145) vs Nikita Krylov (+125) de Lima ITD (-116) 1.16u to win 1u At this point in time, I believe de Lima is the superior mixed martial artist of the two and I think he gets the job done inside the distance tomorrow night.
