UFC Fight Night 71’s Kevin Casey: ‘I want to jump into the top 10 as soon as possible’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 71 middleweight Kevin Casey as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout tonight (Wednesday, July 15, 2015) against Ildemar Alcantara at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

The “King” certainly doesn’t lack confidence, and he feels that he’s done everything in his power to become a more dangerous and well-rounded fighter during his suspension. So much so that he feels he could be a top 10 fighter in the UFC’s middleweight division:

“I always have someone that’s there to push me and to make sure I’m evolving and not just doing the same thing I was doing a month ago. Every 2-3 weeks I’m getting better. I don’t want to be arrogant about it because there’s a pack of wolves waiting for me as soon as I get back in the cage, but I’m very confident about going in and jumping into that Top 10 as soon as possible. I feel confident to step into any fight on three weeks’ notice and give any guy a run.”
