UFC Fight Night 71’s Marion Reneau: ‘I’m not sure about Holly Holm’s ground game’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 71 women’s bantamweight Marion Reneau as she prepares for her upcoming main card bout tomorrow night (Wednesday, July 15, 2015) at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

Reneau has quickly gone 2-0 in her brief UFC career showcasing solid boxing and an excellent ground game with a TKO and a submission victory. She isn’t going to underestimate Holm’s ground game though despite not having seen it yet:

“I think [Holly Holm] has really strong kicks. She had many TKOs and KOs with her kicks so that’s a really strong point for her. I’m not sure about her ground game because we haven’t seen much from her on the ground, but I’m not assuming anything because that makes an ass out of you. What I’m going to do is assume she’s a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and I’ll go in there assuming that she is qualified to be on the ground.”
