UFC Fight Night 67’s Ryan Jimmo: ‘I’m gonna out-skill and out-strategize Francimar Barroso’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 67 light heavyweight Ryan Jimmo about his upcoming main card bout this Saturday night (May 30, 2015) against Francimar Barroso at the Goiania Arena in Goiania, Brazil.

The former MFC champion believes this is the perfect showcase fight for him as he has a significant number of advantages he intends to put on full display in front of the hostile Brazilian crowd:

“I’m kinda starting to become known as a bit of a knockout guy now. I used to be the most boring guy before and now I’m one of the more exciting guy. I think I have a better skill-set than [Francimar Barroso]. I think he throws some heavy bombs. I think I’m more skilled than him on the feet. I think he’ll try to wrestle with me and get me to the ground. I think I have an okay ground game of my own that I can combat him with. I’m just gonna do my thing and it’s gonna be an entertaining fight because of that. People are gonna see my skill-set and how I have a superior skill-set to him as opposed to getting in this barnburner of a brawl and standing and throwing with him. I’m gonna out-think him, out-skill him and out-strategize him as opposed to a war or attrition.”
