Five Crazy UFC 183 Prop Bets That Cashed Big

john-lineker Five crazy prop bets is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here’s five crazy UFC 183 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers. Anderson Silva wins by decision (+423)/Silva wins by unanimous decision (+495) A middleweight bout between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz was expected to end within the distance but it didn’t as Silva didn’t look for the KO blow on Diaz and Diaz was tough enough to survive regardless. The props on Silva by decision at +423 and Silva by unanimous decision at +495 cashed big for those who thought the fight would go the full five rounds. Al Iaquinta wins in round 2 (+600) We have been waiting for Al Iaquinta to make a statement in the UFC and he did just that with a brutal knockout of Joe Lauzon in the second round. Iaquinta’s striking looked exceptional once again and while Lauzon was tough, he just didn’t have it in him. The prop on Iaquinta to win in the second round cashed at +600 with the knockout win. Thiago Alves wins by TKO (+565)/Alves wins in round 2 (+875) Jordan Mein looked good early but crumbled late, getting knocked out in the second round by a body kick from Thiago Alves. Alves didn’t look good in the first round but he made the necessary adjustments to come back with a statement victory in the second. The prop on Alves by TKO at +565 and Alves in round 2 at +875 both cashed big for those who played them. Derek Brunson has fastest KO of the night (+1500) A middleweight bout between Derek Brunson and Ed Herman didn’t last long at all as Brunson was able to get his hands on Herman right away and knock him out in just 36 seconds. It was the first knockout loss of Herman’s career and it was a shocker how quickly it came. The prop on Brunson getting the fastest KO of the night cashed at +1500, so if anyone took that nice job. John Lineker wins by decision (+400) In a flyweight bout, John Lineker was able to outstrike Ian McCall and earn a hard-fought unanimous decision victory. Lineker had all sorts of question marks surrounding him coming into the fight after missing weight by five pounds, but he was able to keep this fight on the feet and use his hands to smash McCall’s face and win the fight. At +400, the prop on Lineker by decision cashed nicely.
