Gabe Killian’s Live Dogs for UFC 183

Tom-WatsonUFC 183 Date: January 31, 2015 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back in Las Vegas this Saturday night (Jan. 31st, 2015) with 12-scheduled bouts, including a five fight main card that will be live on Pay Per View at 10pm ET. Preliminary action will precede it on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm ET and UFC Fight Pass at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any other plays for this fight card, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. My live dogs for UFC 183 are: Middleweight bout: Rafael Natal (-175) vs Tom Watson (+155) Gabe’s Thoughts: Simply put, I like Watson’s chances of winning this fight by either T/KO or decision, so at the current underdog price of +155, I do like him for a play. Gabe’s Call: Watson by T/KO (strikes, 2:13 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Tom Watson (+155) 2u to win 3.1u Featherweight bout: Diego Brandao (-170) vs Jimy Hettes (+150) Gabe’s Thoughts: If this fight hits the judges’ scorecards, if may come down to Brandao’s cardio. He looked to be in shape in the McGregor bout, despite being TKO’d in the first round. I would not be surprised to see him go the full three round distance without badly gassing. However, I think he needs to keep this fight on the feet in order to take home the win. I would not be surprised to see him finish Hettes with strikes, but Hettes is really tough so I could see him taking whatever punishment the Brazilian dishes out. If this fight hits the mat, I think there is a good chance Hettes could earn a submission victory. I think Hettes is a live dog here because not only do I think there is a decent chance that he will win this fight by submission, but I also like his chances of being able to outgrind Brandao over the course of three rounds to pick up his first decision victory inside the Octagon. Brandao is a stiff test for Hettes, but I think it is one he can pass. Gabe’s Call: Hettes by Submission (armbar, 0:49 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Jimy Hettes (+150) 2u to win 3u
