WSOF 17’s Johnny Nunez: ‘I feel like things are falling into place again at Xtreme Couture’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting 17 lightweight Johnny Nunez about his upcoming co-main event bout against Joe Condon tonight (Jan. 17, 2015) at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The undefeated prospect has a tough test ahead of him in the late notice replacement, but he feels all the work he’s been putting in with the returning Gray Maynard has prepared him for success:

“We wrestle three or four times a week. I was getting [Gray Maynard] ready for the wrestling matches at Battle at the Garden. He actually wrestled my last opponent, Ozzy Dugulubgov. He wrestled him and put a spanking on him. It was cool. It’s good to have him back. I used to train with him back in the day when he was with Xtreme and he left but now he’s back. I feel like things are falling into place again.”
