Gabe Killian’s Two-Way Parlay for WSOF 17

tyron-woodleyWSOF 17 Date: January 17, 2015 Arena: Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino City: Las Vegas, NV WSOF 17 will be live on the NBC Sports Network Saturday night at 9pm ET with a five-fight main card. If interested in wagering on this card, these lines will be made available to you at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my two-way parlay for WSOF 17… Welterweight bout: Brian Foster (+350) vs Jake Shields (-485) Gabe’s Thoughts: To put it simply, I think Shields is going to find success with his “American Jiu-Jitsu” by taking Foster down, controlling him on the mat and ultimately finding the submission for his second straight victory inside the World Series of Fighting Promotion, potentially setting him up for a shot at Rousimar Palhares and his WSOF welterweight title. Gabe’s Call: Shields by Submission (rear naked choke, 2:23 round 3) Middleweight bout: Brendan Kornberger (+200) vs Krasimir Mladenov (-260) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is a scrap between a pair of undefeated 185-pounders, with Canada’s Kornberger 5-0 professional mixed martial arts record, and his opponent, Bulgaria’s Mladenov riding hot at an impressive 11-0. As the saying goes, this is a fight in which somebody’s ’O’ must go, and I think it will be the Canadian who gets his first taste of defeat, because I see Mladenov finding success with his grappling, and controlling Kornberger on the mat for the majority of 15 minutes of action en route to picking up a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I could see him securing a finish, most likely a submission, but I believe more often than not he takes this one home via decision. Gabe’s Call: Vladenov by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Shields (-485) parlayed with Mladenov (-260) at -157 2.05u to win 1.3u
