Gabe Killian’s Prop Plays for UFC 182

Daniel CormierUFC 182 Date: January 3, 2015 Arena: MGM Grand Garden Arena City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Pay Per View this Saturday night (Jan 3, 2015) with UFC 182, and the main card will be live at 10pm ET, with preliminary action preceding it at 8pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and before that, at 7pm ET on UFC Fight Pass. If interested in wagering on these proposition plays, or any other plays for this fight card, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. My prop plays for UFC 182 are: Light Heavyweight title bout: Daniel Cormier (+135) vs Jon Jones (-155) Fight is a Draw (+10000) 0.05u to win 5u Just the tiniest stab in the dark, as this outcome would not completely shock me. For a full write up on this 205 pound title fight, look forward to my fight article on the contest. Welterweight bout: Hector Lombard (-800) vs Josh Burkman (+550) Lombard -3.5 (-290) 2.9u to win 1u Lombard ITD (-135) 1.35u to win 1u Lombard in Round One (+175) 1u to win 1.75u Lombard by Submission (+1190) .4u to win 4.76u I am expecting the Cuban to put Burkman away early in this fight, being the first to defeat him via knockout. I favor a knockout, however I see value in the Submission prop at +1190, so I’m throwing a little something on that, as well. For a full write-up on this 170 pound scrap, I refer you to my fight article for the bout. Bantamweight bout: Cody Garbrandt (+170) vs Marcus Brimage (-200) Garbrandt by Decision (+425) 1u to win 4.25u Garbrandt +3.5 (-150) 1.5u to win 1u I think Garbrandt has a good chance of straight up winning this fight and I favor him to do so via decision on the judges’ scorecards. However, should the decision go the other way, I think it will be a split or at worst a unanimous 29-28, so one of these two will end up cashing and saving the other. Hopefully, they will both bring cheddar home. Heavyweight bout: Jared Cannonier (+190) vs Shawn Jordan (-230) Cannonier in Round One (+425) 1u to win 4.25u Cannonier ITD (+248) .5u to win 1.24u I favor Cannonier to get his hand raised in this match-up and to stay undefeated following a successful promotional debut. I like him to finish the fight by T/KO and I see it happening in the very first round of action. I think there is plenty of value in the Cannonier in Round One prop at the current betting price of +425, as I think that is the most likely outcome to this heavyweight contest. Lightweight bout: Evan Dunham (-550) vs Rodrigo Damm (+425) Dunham -3.5 (-215) 2.15u to win 1u I think this match-up is a great opportunity for Dunham to snap his two fight losing streak and bounce back into the win column. I see him getting the better of the Brazilian for all three rounds of action in this bout, and while I could see him earning a stoppage, I think more than likely he takes home a unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards.
