UFC Fight Night 58’s CB Dollaway: ‘I’m hoping to silence the whole stadium’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 58 middleweight CB Dollaway as he prepares for his upcoming headlining bout against Lyoto Machida this Saturday night (Dec. 20, 2014) at the Ginásio José Corrêa in Barueri, Brazil.

The surging middleweight contender expects a hostile crowd, but this is his third time taking on a Brazilian in Brazil, so he’s more than ready to deal with the unique atmosphere:

“It’s actually a great feeling to see fans that are that into the fight. They bring a certain kind of energy. Even though they’re not behind you, even though they’re against you, it still raises you up whenever the fights’ going on and hearing that energy they have in the building. It’s an awesome experience. It’s gonna be a hostile crowd. There’s no crowd like it anywhere in the world. To me, it’s an honor to fight in front of them and then to fight one of their national heroes and hear that place to crazy and hopefully silence the whole stadium.”
