If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my parlay for Invicta FC 10 in Houston: Atomweight title bout: Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Waterson (-600) vs Herica Tiburcio (+400) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Tiburcio is solid but may be undersized for even the 105 pound division. She will certainly be at a height and reach disadvantage heading into this five round title fight, not to mention a striking disadvantage, and I think that is a formula that she is not going to be able to overcome. Waterson is going to be two steps ahead of Tiburcio every step of the way in this match-up and I think she will ultimately earn a stoppage. I could see her ending this fight by either TKO or submission, however if Tiburcio’s heart and toughness does hold up for 25 minutes of action, I think Waterson will retain her title with a unanimous 50-45 decision from all three judges’ at ringside. Gabe’s Call: “The Karate Hottie” by T/KO (strikes, 4:11 round 4) Flyweight bout: Andrea “KGB” Lee (-350) vs Roxanne “The Happy Warrior” Modafferi (+250) Gabe’s Thoughts: “The Happy Warrior” recently snapped a six fight losing streak with a unanimous decision victory over Tara LaRosa and tonight she will be looking to string together her first pair of victories in nearly five years. Modafferi is a pioneer in women’s mixed martial arts, though her best days are behind her, as the up and coming talent of today is too much for her to contend with, and I believe “KGB” will prove to be a classic example of that. I think Lee is a solid prospect in the women’s flyweight division and I think she will get the better of Modafferi everywhere in this bout. I think her submission defense will hold up, if she does find herself in trouble. That said, I expect this scrap to play out on the feet, and while Modafferi has been improving her striking, I think she is going to be outmatched by Lee, who I think will ultimately earn a TKO stoppage over the veteran. I should note that I don’t think Modaferri is “done” by any means, as she is in fact continuing to improve as a mixed martial artist. I just think she won’t fair wait against the upper-echelon of the division, and from the looks of things, “KGB” has potential of finding herself there. This fight is a true test for both ladies, but my money is on Lee being the one who passes, and I think she will do so with flying colors. Possibly a flying armbar. Gabe’s Call: “KGB” by T/KO (strikes, 3:32 round 3) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Michelle Waterson (-600) parlayed with Andrea Lee (-350) for -200 4u to win 2u
