RFA 20’s Gilbert Smith: ‘The caliber of guys I’ve fought are in a different world’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 20 middleweight Gilbert Smith as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout against Bojan Velickovic tonight (November 7, 2014) at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

The former Ultimate Fighter contestant is looking to get back in the UFC’s good graces with a solid performance, and he feels his strength of competition will be a huge factor in his bout tonight:

“[Bojan Velickovic] is 9-2 and I’m 9-3 but if you look closely at the caliber of guys he’s fought and the caliber of guys I’ve fought, it’s two different worlds. Our records may be similar, but as far as our history, it’s totally different…Personally, I would love for this to be one of my easier fights. I’d take that any day of the week. I don’t care for wars.”
