MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC lightweight Matt Wagy as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout against William Sizemore this Friday (October 31, 2014) at the USF Sundome in Tampa, Florida.
The former American Top Team fighter has made the transition to Team Alpha Male and he feels there’s a stark difference between the two gyms, especially for fighters his size:
“Team Alpha Male is the best gym in the world for anybody my size. Everyone works hard. I came from American Top Team, that’s where I began my training, but the difference with Team Alpha Male is that they’re super intense. Everyone is very nice and its’ a great atmosphere and you can go with the best guys in the world, Urijah Faber, Chad Mendes, TJ Dillashaw, Chris Holdsworth and they’ll give you advice. There’s always a roomful of killers. You’re either going to get better or you’re going to quit.”
