Gabe Killian’s Bellator 130 Preliminary Card Parlay

sam-oropeza-bellator-108Bellator 130 Date: October 24, 2014 Arena: Kansas Star Casino City: Mulvane, KS Bellator 130 will be live from Kansas this Friday night with a 12 fight card, including a four fight main card that will be live on Spike TV at 9pm ET, and with preliminary action getting going on Spike.com at 7pm ET. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my two-way preliminary card parlay for Bellator 130: Featherweight bout: Anthony Dizy (+385) vs Darrion Caldwell (-485) Gabe’s Thoughts: Dizy is a step up in competition for Caldwell, but Caldwell is a much bigger step up in competition for the Frenchman, as he has never faced anybody remotely as good as him. This will be Dizy’s first fight States-side and I don’t think he will fair too well under the big bright lights in his debut with the promotion. He’s tough and not easy to put away, but at the same time, he has yet to taste vicious elbows in a fight, so I could see Caldwell using his sharp limbs to break the Frenchman en route to earning a TKO stoppage or get an opening to sink in the rear naked choke for the tapout finish. That said, I don’t think Dizy will be easy to put away, so I favor Caldwell getting his hand raised via decision more often than he finds a finish. At the current juicy line of -485, I think there’s a little value in Caldwell, as I think he should be -500. Just barely enough to make him worthy of being the first leg to this two way parlay for the Bellator 130 preliminary fight card. Gabe’s Call: Caldwell by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Gary Tapuosa (+250) vs Sam Oropeza (-325) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Oropeza is simply put, the superior fighter in this 170-pound scrap, and I am expecting him to catch Tapusoa early and put him away. However, if Tapuosa manages to survive, I feel Oropeza will pick up a unanimous nod from the judges. I personally think he should be a -380 betting favorite in this match-up, so at the current price of -325, there’s enough value to include him as the second leg for my Bellator 130 preliminary card two teamer. Gabe’s Call: Oropeza by T/KO (punches, 1:14 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Caldwell (-485) parlayed with Oropeza (-325) for -174 1.74u to win 1u
